About VistaFit
VistaFit is an interactive decision-support tool for exploring where Vistamaxx polymer property profiles may create the strongest commercial fit. It connects material properties, product applications, process compatibility, incumbent displacement, and market/regulatory logic in one browser-based experience.

The app converts a technical datasheet problem into a practical application-discovery workflow. It helps judges see both the product logic and the commercial path from material property to market opportunity.
How it is built
VistaFit is a no-backend static web app built with HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript, Chart.js, and editable JSON data files. It can be hosted directly on GitHub Pages.
Core evidence model
The tool is organized around three connected associations:
- Property-to-application fit: hardness, melt flow rate, density, flex modulus, and Vicat windows are scored against application requirements.
- Manufacturing compatibility: process badges show green/yellow/red feasibility for extrusion, film, molding, fiber, sealing, adhesive, sterilization, and related processes.
- Commercial/regulatory profile: top matches display incumbent materials, addressable KTA, threshold logic, regulatory pressure, recyclability advantage, TRL, and strategic value.
Intended use
VistaFit is intended as an exploratory innovation and contest-submission tool, not a substitute for current ExxonMobil datasheets, engineering qualification, regulatory review, or customer validation. The JSON architecture makes the model easy to update as better data becomes available.
