Common Questions
Where is progress saved?
Progress is saved locally in the browser on that device. It does not create an account or send customer information to a server.
Why do I need to run it from a web server?
The app loads JSON configuration files. Most browsers block those file loads when opening the page directly from disk, so GitHub Pages or a local static server is the right way to run it.
Can my dealership edit the lessons?
Yes. Training content lives in configuration files under the config folder, so a dealership can add local trail rules, event checklists, delivery steps, and vehicle-specific notes.
Can this replace hands-on instruction?
No. DriveSkool is a training aid and planning tool. Recovery practice, difficult terrain, water crossings, and group trail runs should involve experienced supervision.
